IYOBA HANDMADE | A black & woman-owned Oakland-based beauty company that handcrafts organic products for the natural care of hair, body, and home. Collaborate with industry experts to guarantee the best practices and continued innovation. Where they test ingredients and create products that are vegan and free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, and other harmful chemicals.
IYOBA’S brand presence was a little lackluster, and they needed a splash of creativity to make their products truly stand out. That's where we stepped in! Through our photography prowess, we captured the essence of their handmade treasures, bringing them to life with vivid imagery that spoke directly to their target audience. But we didn't stop there! Our design work took their brand to new heights, crafting visually stunning visuals that resonated with their customers on a deep, emotional level. Aja founded Habit in 2013 because within the clean beauty space, she saw lots of other brands doing one or two things really well, but not everything she was looking for all in one product. And more specifically, as a woman of color passionate about both plant-based nutrition and makeup, she rarely saw women like her represented at the junction of these fields in the clean beauty space. So in launching Habit, her goal was twofold: to build an inclusive clean beauty brand and to create the all-around best clean makeup products
Before Habit Cosmetics teamed up with us, they were facing the common problem of struggling to stand out in a crowded cosmetics market. We swooped in like a bouquet-carrying superhero to save the day! We sprinkled our magic on their social media design work, transforming their accounts into vibrant gardens of captivating content. With our influencer campaign, we planted seeds of brand awareness and watched them blossom into a flourishing community of loyal followers. And that's not all! We also cultivated a strategic brand strategy, giving Habit Cosmetics a solid foundation to bloom and grow. With a strong focus on utilizing fresh ingredients and infusing them with flavorful Jamaican spices, Peaches Patties aims to provide customers with a genuine taste of Peaches Jamaican Kitchen.

Anasa Yoga proudly served the community as a Black-owned/Woman-owned, green-certified, wellness center located in the Laurel District neighborhood of East Oakland. During these precious years, our team of 20+ gifted teachers led thousands of students in the holistic diversity of yoga, Feldenkrais®, Nia®, dance classes, plus 253 workshops and trainings.
Anasa Yoga was struggling to make its brand bloom in the crowded yoga world. Their visual identity lacked the radiance and authenticity needed to captivate potential clients.
